“CinchSeal keeps the sugar in the tank”
As you can see from the 2 before photos the seals fitted by the OEM were not keeping the caster in. Production were pulling hair out.
Sugar is very difficult to seal in any type of bulk handling equipment.
Nestlé Broadford had a costly issue with product loss and downtime on the vertical screw auger mixer used in their Hopper Transfer process.
The old seals as pictured were replaced with standard housing 7550 CinchSeal with specially sized internals.
When asked about seal performance, Jason Schulze, the Maintenance Unit Leader was extremely pleased with the ease of conversion and the seal has been running with no leaks since early June 2014.
